CullenCast #07: Lonely, Little Michelle

Could it be another CullenCast? Well... YES and NO. This is not an official CullenCast (listen to see what I mean) because it's a one person show. As in Michelle is the only one talking and she's practically talking to herself. Hope you don't mind! I thought I would come up with something to keep you busy while waiting for new CullenCast. Basically I talk about the casting of Edward and Bella and my thoughts on it. Enjoy!

New 'Author' Section

Finally! I've finished the author section of the site and added it to the footer link section. Now if you look to the left you'll find a new bar that says "Author". Click it to go to the new author section of the site. Hope you find it useful! smile


Shop Christmas Design

Just a little note to anyone that visits/buys from the BellaAndEdward.com shop. The Christmas design ("All I Want For Christmas is a Cullen") is a limited edition design which means it will be taken down at the end of December. So for those of you who want to get it for next year or whatever, you only have a couple of days left to buy it!

I've also added the official press articles released when they cast Bella and Edward. Those were sort of old so they won't be at the very top of the press section.


Fresh Updates!

I've added tons of stuff to the site today. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, lol. First off, I've added all the "You Know You're Obsessed With Twilight..." list suggestions in my inbox. That took a (long) while, and now the list is as long as ever!

Second, I've added a drawing made by Bella to the gallery here and two book marks made by Iga here. Finally I added a new wallpaper made by Andie to the wallpaper section. For some reason it wouldn't let me resize it to 1024x758, but it would let me for 800x600. So now it's only 800x600, I'm sorry guys! Edit// I've added the 1024x768 wallpaper that Andie made to the graphics section.




Movie Info Updated

I've updated the move info page with the new news and the release date (?) of the movie. I got this info from IMDB, but I don't know how reliable it is. On IMDB it says that the Twilight movie will be released on December 12, 2008. That's exactly a year away from today!

Once again this is probably not a final date, but I just thought I's share it with you guys :)

Also, I've added a new press article by the Peninsula Daily News to the iforks press section. It's about the Twilight filming locations like Forks High School and such. Click here to read it.


Robert Pattinson as Edward!

The day we have all been waiting for is finally here! Edward Cullen has been cast! Robert Pattinson is the lucky guy who will be playing Edward in the Twilight movie. For those of you who don't know he was/is Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movies. Click here for his IMDb profile.

So what are your thoughts? Does he fall under the "too famous" category? Is he the perfect Edward?

CullenCast (again)

I made a post about CullenCast a couple days back, I don't know how many people actually saw it though, since people have been wondering what happened to CullenCast. Well I'll explain it again. I have decided to put CullenCast on a hiatus (break) because editing it every month became such a pain! I am trying to find a way to do it so that I will not have to edit it every month, and until I find a way it will be on hiatus. I'm really sorry for those of you who miss it, but it will be back eventually!

About: I was skeptical at first about the series. All my friends were reading it in 9th grade and I just wasn't into it. I had been burned pretty bad by a relationship and I just wasn't believing the whole 'love story' thing. Then, on one fateful night, I was at a book sale and was desperately seeking a new read. Twilight seemed to be glowing on the shelf and I was drawn to buy it. I didn't know why, like I said, I didn't want to even think about love. I went home and cracked open the fresh book. I instantly related to Bella. Her feelings became my feelings. Her curiosity became my curiosity. I carried the book around with me everywhere I went. I found myself even slowing down in reading it because I didn't want it to end. I closed the back cover and took a deep breath, then I realized something. I had learned to believe in love again. A simple book and taught me to believe in what I thought just couldn't exist. I also learned that every girl deserves their very own Edward Cullen. No one should settle for just some guy. He needs to be your guy. Your dream guy. Well, let's say I am not a skeptic anymore. As a freshman in college, I find myself having a lot of free time to re-read the books... again. I have my own 59 song playlist for all the books on my i-Tunes and I love that it brings me back to the moments in the books. I have met so many people just by saying that I am a "Twilighter". It amazing how passionate you can become about a novel. I am so happy I bought Twilight on a whim. It has transformed my life and taught me so much about myself. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my Twilight story.

About: Recently, my youngest aunt died unexpectedly in her sleep.I was left in the most depressed mood that I've ever experienced. I felt like something inside my heart had fallen out, was missing, and would never come back. It was a physical condition that literally made me uncomfortable. I thought of New Moon, and how Bella feels throughout that book. She is always holding herself together with her crossed arms. I realized that this was the closest description to what I was feeling. My chest hurt, like it was falling apart inside. Then I thought of how Bella turns into a zombie for several months and decided that I didn't want to be like that. I didn't want to lose myself in grief, and I know my aunt wouldn't have wanted me to do that either. I know that this case is different, in that I will never get that piece of my heart back for good, but I don't want to be like Zombie Bella. I want to be strong, like Bella becomes after her loss. I will never forget how Twilight helped me straighten my thoughts and fix myself in the worst times of my life. It takes an amazing book to do something like that. And an amazing writer to portray such a real and painful emotion so realistically. From all of the ways that Twilight has changed my life, this is definitely the biggest. It helpled to support me when I thought nothing could, and gave me hope when everything in my world was bleak.
