New Moon has been nominated for the ALA Teens' Top Ten of 2007! Voting will begin on October 14, 2007 and will last until the 20th of the month. Last year, Twilight made second place (first was, of course, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince). How about we make New Moon number one this year? Vote for New Moon when voting starts! Twilight Movie!

Check this out guys! IMDb (Internet Movie Database) has a page for the Twilight movie already. It's blank with no information yet, but at least it's better than nothing! Click here to see it. The current release date according to IMDb is 2010, but all that can change. Also, Stephenie has her own page on there too, click here.

There were also two articles released about the director of the Twilight movie, Catherine Hardwicke visiting Forks to find suitable filming locations! One of them was from the Forks Forum here and the other from Peninsula Daily News here. Great news huh? Looks like the chances of a movie just increased! laughing

Today Show Segment Changed!

The Lexicon has just posted that the Today Show segment with Stephenie Meyer has been changed to Sunday instead of Saturday! So scratch what I wrote yesterday. Stephenie Meyer will be on the today show on Sunday, September 23, 2007!

Right, I've run out of titles for the updates, lol. So anyway, I'm updating now just so you don't get worried and think I fell of the face of this earth or something wink If you would think that...

I haven't gotten a chance to update anything on the site yet but please be patient because I will get around to it eventually! If you recently sent in a casting suggestion, I did get it I just haven't had the time to put it up. Also, if you emailed me a question I should have responded by now because I usually respond to those as soon as I can. If I somehow missed it please feel free to email me about it again.

And last, just a little reminder that Stephenie Meyer will be on The Today Show this Saturday the 22nd of September. There is no set time as of now, but if you watch the whole two hours you won't miss it! Lol, hope everyone's enjoying school/work/whatever! laughing

A bit delayed, but at least I managed to do it on the same day, lol. So now I would like to take the time to wish Bella a very happy birthday! Allie and I wore our Twilight shirts to school today to show our support laughing

CullenCast #05: Quite a Lot

Well folks, here it is, CullenCast episode five. I'm terribly sorry this took forever to get out! Luke and I just recorded this about an hour ago and I've just put it up and everything. This is a very short episode (not even ten minutes) where we just go through the news and the FOTM. Sorry about not having a real show this month, everyone was gone and we didn't want to have a full show with just two people. But anyway, hope you enjoy this condensed version of CullenCast!

The city of Forks, Washington has decided to make September 13 (Bella's birthday) "Stephenie Meyer Day!" About time they thought of something like that, lol. Basically there will be a lot of Twilight related activities and stuff like that. If any of you live in Forks and attend this event please consider sending us some pictures! Thanks!

The Today Show?

According to the Twilight Lexicon, Stephenie Meyer will be on the Today Show on Saturday, September 22, 2007. I had no idea the Today Show showed on weekends but I guess I was wrong about that, lol. Anyway, this is what they have to say:

"'The Today Show' Weekend Edition is doing a feature segment on Stephenie Meyer and the Eclipse phenomenon.

The piece is scheduled to air on Saturday, September 22nd."

About CullenCast and Stuff

Okay, so here's the deal with the CullenCast this month. Some of you are probably wondering where that is right now. Well, we had some technical issues while recording and it turns out that editing the episode is close to impossible for me. So unless you want to listen to a bunch of unidentifiable noise then you're going to have to wait a while longer. We're scheduling a re-recording sometime soon and we're getting headsets so the sound quality should be better. I'm really sorry sad

And now for some happier news. StephenieMeyer.com has been updated with the Eclipse FAQs (a.k.a. the questions she's been getting the most of on the tour) here. Also, they've put up some Eclipse tour pictures here. There's also been an update to the Twilight movie page here. They've released the name of the director and the producer too!

About: I was skeptical at first about the series. All my friends were reading it in 9th grade and I just wasn't into it. I had been burned pretty bad by a relationship and I just wasn't believing the whole 'love story' thing. Then, on one fateful night, I was at a book sale and was desperately seeking a new read. Twilight seemed to be glowing on the shelf and I was drawn to buy it. I didn't know why, like I said, I didn't want to even think about love. I went home and cracked open the fresh book. I instantly related to Bella. Her feelings became my feelings. Her curiosity became my curiosity. I carried the book around with me everywhere I went. I found myself even slowing down in reading it because I didn't want it to end. I closed the back cover and took a deep breath, then I realized something. I had learned to believe in love again. A simple book and taught me to believe in what I thought just couldn't exist. I also learned that every girl deserves their very own Edward Cullen. No one should settle for just some guy. He needs to be your guy. Your dream guy. Well, let's say I am not a skeptic anymore. As a freshman in college, I find myself having a lot of free time to re-read the books... again. I have my own 59 song playlist for all the books on my i-Tunes and I love that it brings me back to the moments in the books. I have met so many people just by saying that I am a "Twilighter". It amazing how passionate you can become about a novel. I am so happy I bought Twilight on a whim. It has transformed my life and taught me so much about myself. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my Twilight story.

About: Recently, my youngest aunt died unexpectedly in her sleep.I was left in the most depressed mood that I've ever experienced. I felt like something inside my heart had fallen out, was missing, and would never come back. It was a physical condition that literally made me uncomfortable. I thought of New Moon, and how Bella feels throughout that book. She is always holding herself together with her crossed arms. I realized that this was the closest description to what I was feeling. My chest hurt, like it was falling apart inside. Then I thought of how Bella turns into a zombie for several months and decided that I didn't want to be like that. I didn't want to lose myself in grief, and I know my aunt wouldn't have wanted me to do that either. I know that this case is different, in that I will never get that piece of my heart back for good, but I don't want to be like Zombie Bella. I want to be strong, like Bella becomes after her loss. I will never forget how Twilight helped me straighten my thoughts and fix myself in the worst times of my life. It takes an amazing book to do something like that. And an amazing writer to portray such a real and painful emotion so realistically. From all of the ways that Twilight has changed my life, this is definitely the biggest. It helpled to support me when I thought nothing could, and gave me hope when everything in my world was bleak.
