CullenCast: iTunes Issues

Okay... I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that CullenCast was finally put up by me today. The bad news is that iTunes seems to be having some sort of problem and you can't find the episode anywhere on it. BUT, for those of you who subscribed to it last time, you can still get it if you open up iTunes. If you didn't subscribe last time, then I guess you'll just have to wait until iTunes is fixed. I'm really sorry about this guys, but I didn't have any controll over it, so... yeah. sad

Edit// Actually, the episode is on iTunes now, you just can't search for it. But if you click this link it will take you to it, and then you can subscribe.

I've added seven new castings and about twenty new "Why Twilight?"s.

Also, we recorded the new CullenCast today and it's currently in the editing process. It should be out on Wednesday or maybe even tomorrow!

Casting Suggestions

Hey guys! I've added about a million new casting suggestions to the site. Okay, maybe not that many, but you get the point. Actually I got over 30 emails with different casting suggestions (that's not including the ones that repeated), and I put them all up. Took me forever, but I hope you guys enjoy it!

While I'm on the topic of casting suggestions, please remember that only celebs will be put up. If you know someone (in real life) who would be a great suggestion, please post their picture over on the forums! Thanks!

Hey guys! I've added 2 new fanfictions written by Aarabele and M*Star. Click on their names to read them. They're really good!

While I'm on the topic of fanfictions, I have to say that putting all of those up was a big hassle. So... from now on if you have any more fanfics to send please post them on the forum! I will not be adding anymore fanfictions to the site, just be aware of that. All the ones we have now will stay, but anything that didn't get sent before today will not be coming up! I still have 2 more fanfics I need to put up, but after that, no more! Sorry guys, but post them on the forum if you want to share them!

As some of you have probably noticed, this site has been getting a lot of spam lately. Twilight Faction has graciously suggested some solutions. I've tried to install this thing that will make you type in a code before you comment. It should help reduce the amount of spammers, but we'll have to see. So next time you're commenting and you're wondering what that is, that's what it is, lol.

Not a lot of stuff going on in the Twilight universe right now. The Eclipse prom was just over two weeks ago and I guess everyone is anticipating the release of Eclipse. Just a reminder that you can pre-order it at BarnesandNoble.com for a pretty decent price!

Anyway, I've gotten *oh my gosh* HUGE amounts of submittions for everything on the site and I just wanted to let you guys know that I will be doing a major update with all of that stuff really soon! This includes: casting suggestions, Why Twilight, You know You're Obsessed if..., and other stuff.

We will be recording the next episode of CullenCast next Friday the 25th of May. It will most likely be out the first of June (since this is only our second time, I can't garuntee anything). We will also have a new (hopefully permanent) host on the show, so be looking forward to that! You might be surprised! For those of you who still haven't listened to CullenCast, you can subscribe to it here!

One last thing, Stephenie Meyer has said that she will be touring for Eclipse this coming fall! Yay! The calendar isn't out yet, but it should be coming very soon. Be sure to check if she'll be coming to a city near you!

Yay guys! Great news! I have finally gotten out the first CullenCast on iTunes! I'm so excited! Allie and I have decided that we will do one podcast every month, but if you guys like it a lot, we might do it every two weeks or even every week! Right now, you can only subscribe to it on iTunes, but I will figure out other ways for you to get them in the future (for those of you who don't have iTunes). Just in case, you do not need an iPod to listen! You can simply subscribe to it on iTunes (it's free) and listen to it on your computer. Or you can get it into your MP3 player or burn it onto a CD and listen to it like that. Whatever floats your boat! Lol. Okay, so... if you have iTunes (if you don't, just go to http://www.itunes.com and download it, it's all free!), click here to go to our podcast page and subcribe to our podcast! Enjoy guys!

Oh yes, and I have a new FOTM up! Congrats to Zuffy for making FOTM for May 2007!


Twilight iMix

For those of you who don't know what an iMix is, it's basically an album that you can buy with certain groups of songs on it (Twilight songs in this case). About: I was skeptical at first about the series. All my friends were reading it in 9th grade and I just wasn't into it. I had been burned pretty bad by a relationship and I just wasn't believing the whole 'love story' thing. Then, on one fateful night, I was at a book sale and was desperately seeking a new read. Twilight seemed to be glowing on the shelf and I was drawn to buy it. I didn't know why, like I said, I didn't want to even think about love. I went home and cracked open the fresh book. I instantly related to Bella. Her feelings became my feelings. Her curiosity became my curiosity. I carried the book around with me everywhere I went. I found myself even slowing down in reading it because I didn't want it to end. I closed the back cover and took a deep breath, then I realized something. I had learned to believe in love again. A simple book and taught me to believe in what I thought just couldn't exist. I also learned that every girl deserves their very own Edward Cullen. No one should settle for just some guy. He needs to be your guy. Your dream guy. Well, let's say I am not a skeptic anymore. As a freshman in college, I find myself having a lot of free time to re-read the books... again. I have my own 59 song playlist for all the books on my i-Tunes and I love that it brings me back to the moments in the books. I have met so many people just by saying that I am a "Twilighter". It amazing how passionate you can become about a novel. I am so happy I bought Twilight on a whim. It has transformed my life and taught me so much about myself. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my Twilight story.

About: Recently, my youngest aunt died unexpectedly in her sleep.I was left in the most depressed mood that I've ever experienced. I felt like something inside my heart had fallen out, was missing, and would never come back. It was a physical condition that literally made me uncomfortable. I thought of New Moon, and how Bella feels throughout that book. She is always holding herself together with her crossed arms. I realized that this was the closest description to what I was feeling. My chest hurt, like it was falling apart inside. Then I thought of how Bella turns into a zombie for several months and decided that I didn't want to be like that. I didn't want to lose myself in grief, and I know my aunt wouldn't have wanted me to do that either. I know that this case is different, in that I will never get that piece of my heart back for good, but I don't want to be like Zombie Bella. I want to be strong, like Bella becomes after her loss. I will never forget how Twilight helped me straighten my thoughts and fix myself in the worst times of my life. It takes an amazing book to do something like that. And an amazing writer to portray such a real and painful emotion so realistically. From all of the ways that Twilight has changed my life, this is definitely the biggest. It helpled to support me when I thought nothing could, and gave me hope when everything in my world was bleak.
