'Twilight' and 'True Blood' Battle for Spike Awards

As Jenny previously posted, new 'New Moon' footage is going to premiere on the Spike TV Scream Awards. However, as MTV discusses, 'Twilight' is nominated for several awards. 'Twilight' is getting healthy competition from 'True Blood':
...there's a decidedly vampiric feel to this year's show, with "Twilight" and "True Blood" landing a combined 19 nominations, including nods for Best Fantasy Movie and Best TV Show. The two franchises will even go head-to-head in a handful of categories, including Best Ensemble and Best Villain, where Cam Gigandet faces off against Alexander Skarsgård.
don't worry: Both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart got nominated too, for Best Fantasy Actor and Actress.
But the undead action doesn't stop there. Not only will the cast of "True Blood" be on hand for the awards, but during the telecast, vampire fans will be treated to the world premiere of new footage from the hotly anticipated "New Moon" film.
Voting for the awards is currently open on Spike TV's website, and will close on the night of October 17th. The 2009 Spike TV Scream Awards tape on Saturday, October 17, at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and premiere Tuesday, October 27, at 10 p.m. ET. VOTE NOW!

Perez had a new post about Robert Pattinson possibly contributing to the
Eclipse soundtrack.
Says R-Patz: "I don’t know if it will be possible because of my schedule, but I want to do it. Music is the other side of me, it’s one of the things that complete me and I wouldn’t want to leave it aside for anything in the world."

Documentary of Rob's Life is to be Released

MTV is reporting that Revolver Entertainment is releasing a documentary about Rob's life, on DVD, November 10th. The title of the documentary is titled 'Robsessed'.
Revolver Entertainment plans to release a documentary called "Robsessed," which the company claims will offer exclusive peeks into the star's life from his British boyhood and pre-"Twilight" career to the current mania surrounding him.
" 'Robsessed' offers an exclusive, insider's look into the world of RPattz, following his path from a young schoolboy, to his early modeling and acting jobs, all the way through to landing his dazzling role in the 'Twilight' saga," the description on Revolver's Web site says.
So what do you think? Is Rob old enough to have a documentary made of his life? Is this another case of trying to cash in on his popularity?
